An ongoing experimental project for Amy, which evolved from a desire to produce abstract and unusual photographs both in the sea and on the shoreline, but working to a strict budget to see what could be achieved with entry-level kit (as opposed to expensive, bespoke digitial underwater-ready SLR cameras).

Early shots in th series were taken with disposable underwater film cameras, then digitial compacts in waterproof bags, before we aquired a specific underwater compact camera.
The series is an exploration of different techniques and settings, shot in rivers and the sea off a variety of beaches in North-West Wales, Northumbria, and Lancashire.
