Something of an ongoing passion project, Amy has been working on the Light Trails series since University. Experimenting with different cameras, exposure times, shooting techniques and locations, to produce a wide and varied body of work, the resulting photographs remain a vibrant element of her folio.

The most frequent venue for the photographs is Blackpool during the illuminations. However other shoots in the series have featured images shot in woodlands at night, on beaches, and on mountainsides as well, around various locations in the UK. An offshoot of the work, using LED torches to undertake 'light painting' techniques has proved a popular subject for demonstration sessions with local photography groups and with local Scout/Cub troops, as well as with school workshops.

EXHIBITED AT: CUPOLA GALLERY (SHEFFIELD), RYDAL HALL (AMBLESIDE), SHIPLEY LIBRARY(WEST YORKSHIRE), CARTWRIGHT HALL (BRADFORD), FABRIC (BRADFORD)
